2022 WAS YEAR 9 OF CARE ABOUT CRANIO! NOT ONLY DID WE CELEBRATE SOUTHERN UNION'S 100th BIRTHDAY BUT WE PRAYED WITH KARTER AND HIS FAMILY, WHILE GIFTING HIM WITH FUNDS TO ASSIST WITH HIS HOSPITAL BILLS!
I WROTE THE FOLLOWING POST JUST A FEW DAYS AFTER THE EVENT:
Thanks to many generous donors, I am excited to write a big check to our buddy Karter today! The Cheering on Karter Cranio Event was so special because of many people. Thanks to each person who came and surrounded this family in both prayer and support. Thanks to Farrah Costley for capturing the best pictures. Thanks to my early morning riser, Ryker Fetner, who helped the morning crew!! I am thankful that he was able to truly experience his first Cranio Event. He is still talking about and praising Jesus that "Karter has had surgery and is doing great!". He also felt the full spirit of small town life and held a precious long time family friends hand during the historical presentation. A sweet memento of what community love is all about! Thanks to many in Karter's family who helped us, especially my friends, Kim & Kevin Baldwin, who encouraged me in the weeks prior and lent a helping hand plus generous donation!! A huge thank you to my family who came, stayed, and celebrated at the farm afterwards!! And last but certainly not least, a special hug and thanks to the sweetest, Hope Caldwell! She volunteered SOLO at the Cranio Donation Tent ALL DAY. I could not have done it without these precious people. I love you all and am grateful for you gifts. GRAND TOTAL: $4,550!!!

I want our 10th Year to be the BIGGEST & most special yet!! Sooo please join me! I began this annual fundraiser to spread Craniosynostosis awareness in honor of my niece, Emmy Allen. Every year, it evolved into a huge service project for so many different needs! All of these needs were blessed financially by YOU! Thousands of dollars were used to help those in need. (I am going to have an entire special post about who we have blessed in the past 9 years)!
This year, I have BIG GOALS & BRIGHT IDEAS! I NEED YOUR HELP! I want to raise $10,000 for YEAR 10! We’ve done this before and we can do it again! We can hit this goal by you buying a t-shirt or simply just donating!! Also, tell your friends and family, ask local businesses, and share our posts!!

This year, CARE ABOUT CRANIO, will be supporting Wadley Youth Recreational Sports! This need is dear to my heart! I played on the Wadley fields as a child and spent years as my brother’s water girl on the PeeWee football sidelines! Those memories are some I cherish! I want to help give other children the same opportunities of sweet memories! They need some supplies!
Below, I am listing where your donations will be spent:
* Scoreboard $5700 (we will have a plaque with businesses and individuals donors who wish to be recognized)
* Football Team Equipment $3850
(This is 20 jerseys, 50 helmets conditioned, 4 sets of replacement pads, 50 mouth gaurds, 3 game balls)
* Sprayer to line fields $280
